JotTek is interested in images and videos that show all angles and components of a desktop or laptop computer. RAM Module and Clock Battery locations, specifications, SATA Hard Drive Versions and Available Ports are some components of interest. Disassembling your system is not required but requested.
Content is credited with a custom username. To prevent malicious impersonation, you must create a 6-digit authentication code to verify yourself in case your email changes. When contributing, you also acknowledge that anyone can view and download your content.
What are the username requirements?
Your username must be at least 4 characters minimum, 20 characters maximum, contain no spaces or special characters including emojis or symbols (only _ is allowed), and is appropriate for all ages.
JotTek does not allow usernames with first and last names with an exception of a verified creator, trademark or brand.
Can I change my username after contributing?
Yes, your username can be changed over email.
Can I change the profile picture next to my username?
Yes, your profile picture can be changed over email and can have a squared or circular frame.
What systems do you accept?
Both new and old Laptops, Desktop computers, PDAs and Monitors are accepted.
Can I download my data or remove my contributions?
Yes, you can access, manage or remove data held about you over email.

How is my data managed and associated?
Your data may be associated by information entered when contributing via the Contact Form, or by manually reviewing and associating server analytics. Your data is never shared or sold to any third party.
